31st July is my second rezzday and my dear friend, the talented designer Starlight, sent me an early gift, this gorgeous gown called Pearl Mesh, black and white from her upcoming new line. It is mesh and comes in several sizes. It includes shoes and both a black feather boa and a white fur stole, that are not shown in the image. I of course was speechless and so happy and honored. I am not sure when the gown is going to be out but keep your eye on the House of Starlight Marketplace shop or visit her store inworld. She has a sale coming too with a lot of items for half price.

And on the topic of my second rezzday. It feels a bit strange that it has been so long, and yet it seems like I have been here forever, and not just two years.

I have a very busy SL schedule, and as I am having more stuff to do rl too, I am not sure I can keep doing the blog as much as I used to, even after my hiatus.

I have even been considering quitting the blog, but it just feels like a part of me now and would be difficult to let go of. I think I will just go less on my "rounds" for it and use more of things that I get sent by designers. And nobody has to blog three times a day every day like I did at some point. Plus it is not just a fashion blog, so I can babble about some of my projects, too.

SL9B Friendly Chatter Café

My SL9B plot, the Friendly Chatter Café (SLurl) is finally done. I was going to spend two days on it, but got a bit "inspired" with all the treats and drinks and gifts etc. I hope you can visit at some point. SL9B is a huge celebration with a bunch of sims full of attractions and entertainment. But I figured, everyone needs a break sometimes. :) With so much to see, even virtual legs get tired sometimes. The sims open for public on 18th of June, 2012. SL9B ends 27th of June. Have fun!

 Not that there has been time for many breaks. Have been building like a busy bee for days now. Hope to see you visit, when the sims open 18th June. You will get free treats and drinks (for tinies and biggies), and free gifts. The picture is a sneak peek at what the café looks like. There is room for several groups to enjoy themselves and talk to friends or meet new people. Or you can park there while you go afk.

A lot to see at the SL9B. Our neighbors are really interesting. There is a huge light tower right next to the café that is going to be awesome. And on the other side an artistic looking pyramid. There's some really cool pop art in a big circle on a field close by. And so much more. Plus there are so many sims to see. Take a pod and have a look. :) Keep an eye out for events. Lot's of entertainers have signed up. Live music, dj's etc. And volunteer greeters giving gifts and advice. This is gonna be an awesome event!

Ok, so you know I have been a huge fan of Howear (SLurl) and Duce (SLurl) for ages now. Well today I have great news for you. Duce is now doing mens shoes as well! And today there is a cool set on the 25l promo wall at Howear.

A happy day for me

My awesome friends had a rezday party for me at Amarantha (SLurl). I was not rezzing too well that day, so the pics are blurry. Summertime

I have been working way too hard lately, on this blog. (Not on the stuff I was supposed to, lol). Well, I just realized, I'm my own boss. So here it is: I am now officially on vacation!

I can't be doing reviews on your items for the duration of my vacation, I'm sorry for any inconvenience.

Do not despair, though, blog fans. I will have a summer intern entertaining you while I am away. She is a traveling journalist though, and not too interested in biggy fashions (unless they have pictures of waffles), so back with the cheapie and freebie tips when I'm good and sun soaked.

Blog award :)

I got my first blog award. :) It 's from a rl friend, Taina, I have known and loved for years. She is such a delightful person, truly gorgeous in so many ways. Wish more people would be like her, things would be so much better on this planet. Her blog is in Finnish, way worth checking out. :) And my first award goes back to her!

When did you start your blog?
Pretty much the same moment I started on SL.

What do you write about, what is your blog about?
I write about the experiences I have on SL, and elsewhere in the metaverse. My most visible subject is fashion, but I also do sim reviews, write about building and try to cover important events and causes. Newbies are close to my heart, I try to offer them some tips along the way.

What makes your blog unique?
I started to do my blog this way naturally. I didn't really plan it. I just felt like showing people what the locations look like, so they can maybe decide easier, if they want to click the slurl. I guess my way of blogging fashion is new in that sense, I show the location. I absolutely love the amazing pictures so many fashion bloggers are taking. I myself feel I am not capable for such quality and detailed work as studio pictures require. I often notice my pictures are better when I pose on location.


What made you start blogging?
I wanted to give an account of my experiences, share what I saw with people. I also felt like telling the story of a newbie had some value. And I love blogging in general.


What would you change about your blog?
I often change the appearance and try new techniques. I have been wondering if I should have a more official type of a blog, but now I get to do that on SpotON3d, so I think this blog can remain a personal account.

Sleek home has been one of my favorite blogs for ages. Em Ellsmere finds the best deals in SL for your home and garden. I love the pictures, the look of the blog and Em's talent for making her blog both usable and beautiful.


Being Yordie Sands is a beautiful account of Yordie's life on SL. She often has new and interesting things to show us, and her heart is in everything she does. Yordie was one of the first people to comment on my blog when I started. We have not spent time together inworld or anything, but I feel like we are friends through our blogs.


Zillo Insist is a fashion lover's favorite. Prazillo Lemon has become a quick success in the SL fashion world, and for good reason. I like the professional look of her blog. She is a great photographer, as I can testify from personal experience as well as from having been a fan of her blog for a while now. Zillo is a fun person to hang out with and has a great sense of style.


Jule Lemondrop takes the most beautiful pictures that always have a fun consept in them and give you something extra. Her finds are interesting and her picks inspiring and I often find myself following her lead.


I love ir(regular) guy for making quality posts for the men of SL. Men are still a bit overlooked in the fashion metaverse, but blogs like these show that there are plenty of people who work to change that, and do it with skill.

I have an amazing new opportunity

I have an amazing new opportunity that I can now tell you about. I am so excited and honored to be part of a virtual community called SpotON3D. I am writing for their blogs, mainly the Veesome blog, and working with their team, getting to know the virtual experience better from within.
I will be sharing some information that has to do with both Second life and SpotON3D later, as there are new interesting ways to interact between game systems. I already talked about how my designer friend Gitana (SLurl) has transferred her quality shoes between grids so that you can have your favorite ones in both worlds. Later on I will show you how the cooperation between grids is enriching the gaming experience for all of us. Here is my first post to the SpotON3D blog.
When the tsunami releaf donation information is available, I will post about that regarding both worlds as well. You can learn more about SpotON3d by visiting their SpotON3D Biz Solutions (SLurl) inworld spot in SL.

I thought this picture of a beautiful gate, from the first live event I attended at the SpotON3D grid, MusicaJam at the SpotON3D Dev region, would be appropiately symbolic. :)

Zerbie Magic, a talented singer songwriter, was performing beautifully in this new fantasticly designed  region. She is known for her live performances in Second life and is now finding an appreciative audience in SpotON3d as well. She was also a great example of how the artistic community supports each other, as she was filling in for the intended performer, who was experiencing technical difficulties. You can find her by name in both worlds. If you are a motivated live performer yourself and wish to find new avenues for your art, this is a great event for you to get involved with.

Happy hippie

Went to Club Amaranth (SLurl) once again, for the Hippie themed set hosted by my sis Shella and dj Eagle, one of my very favorite SL dj's. So many amazing tunes, and great conversations with the awesome crowd. This place is my second SL home these days, and for good reason. The rest of the hot hippies were not too eager to find blog fame, so me and my friend LR did the modeling for this post. If you wish to have great fun in good company today, the next event is:
